Concrete Garage Installation Process

1. Planning and Advice

Before work begins, it is important to understand what type of garage will suit your property, budget and available space. Our planning advisers can talk you through garage sizes, roof styles, doors, finishes and any practical points that may affect the project.

2. Site Survey and Measurements

Before your concrete garage is manufactured, a Dencroft representative can carry out a site survey. This helps us check the available space, access, ground levels and any details that could affect the garage design or installation.

During the survey, we can discuss important details such as:

• the size of your vehicle
• the space available on site
• garage height and width
• whether you need a single or double garage
• the roof style and pitch
• door and window positions
• garage access and driveway layout
• any existing garage or building to remove

After the survey, we will provide a clear quote based on your chosen concrete garage specification.

3. Dismantling and Garage Removal

If you already have an old garage on site, our engineers can usually dismantle and remove it before the new garage is installed. This can include old concrete garages, timber buildings, metal garages or other sectional structures.

Removing an existing garage properly helps prepare the site and reduces the risk of problems later in the installation process.

4. Asbestos Garage Roof Removal

Some older garages contain asbestos materials, particularly in roof sheets. If asbestos is present, it must be removed and disposed of safely and responsibly.

5. Concrete Base Preparation

A strong, level base is essential for any prefab concrete garage. If a new base is required, Dencroft can provide a concrete base laying service before installation.

6. Manufacturing Your Concrete Garage

Once the details are agreed, your garage is manufactured using high-quality materials and proven sectional garage construction methods. Because Dencroft manufactures its own concrete garages, we can maintain control over quality, specification and finish.

Your garage will be made to suit your chosen size, roof, doors, windows and finish, ready for delivery and installation by our trained team.

7. Delivery and Installation

On installation day, our team will deliver and erect your new concrete garage. The wall panels, roof structure, door, windows and finishing details are assembled on site to create a strong, practical and weather-resistant building.

Most installations are completed efficiently, with our team working carefully to keep disruption to a minimum.

8. Completion and Aftercare

Once your garage is installed, we will check the finished building and make sure everything is completed to the agreed specification. Our team will also be available if you have any questions after installation.
