Garage Base Laying | Concrete Base Installation

Base Laying for Your Concrete Garage

Building a solid concrete base is fundamental to ensuring that every sectional building Dencroft manufactures and installs stands the test of time. Without a suitable base, your garage will lack stability and deteriorate rapidly.

A well-constructed concrete base will prolong the life of the building and eliminate the risk of doors and windows becoming faulty as a result of movement.

What does the Garage Base Laying Service include?

How do I know if my old concrete base needs replacement?

The presence of cracks, sinking, or unevenness in the current concrete garage base are clear indicators that it may need to be replaced. However, our engineers will thoroughly evaluate the condition of the existing base during the site survey and advise you on whether it needs replacing or not.

How long does the garage base laying process take?

The duration of the project can vary based on factors such as the size of the garage, the condition of the existing base, and weather conditions. Our team will give you a timeline during the initial discussion and ensure that you are kept well-informed throughout the entire procedure.

Built us a very much bespoke garage, to an irregular plan. Lovely job. The guys worked through atrocious weather to get the job done, and Christine in the office is a true star. Thanks to you all.

My garage was refurbished quickly and professionally even though it was snowing. I was shown how best to use the door and was helped to put my car in for the first time.

Thank you Dencroft, two fantastic men came and sorted us out, nothing too much of a problem for them. We had a problem and needed a new base. They came back and sorted it and a week later came and put the garage up. Great service. Thank you. Phil Powell

I found Dencroft an excellent company to deal with, the lean-to garage was fitted on time and of very good quality. The garage is fitted to a house we bought and replaced a detached iron structure,we are very happy with the result. We would certainly recommend Dencroft Garages.

After many years living and bodging our old wet garage we decided to invest in a new one made supplied and fitted by the amazing dencroft garages of batley. After reading many reviews and feeling confident we visited and talked with christine in the office, who with her help clearly explained our options and choice of added extras (well worth getting anti condensation roof underlay) and from the manufacturing to install by very pleasant skilled fitters we now are the proud owners of a stunning new building. There is quite a wait around 12 weeks upwards but that is surely a good thing, it means they are busy and popular. We are very happy and would highly recommend to anyone considering the same. Thanks (mr & mrs scott huddersfield)

We had an old asbestos garage which we wanted removing and a new garage to replace but in a different position. The lead time was about 3 months due to the pandemic. There has been no issues with any part of the service from Dencroft.Firstly the old garage dismantle was subcontracted to an asbestos removal firm who were quick and efficient. The base was laid by the same team who went on to erect the garage a week later. The work was done on time and we are more than happy with quality of the garage and the standard of work carried out.

Absolutely love my new garage. Great experience from start to finish. Christine in the office was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, the fitting team were fab, hard working from start to finish and left everything tidy when they'd finished. Would definitely recommend 5*

I highly recommend Dencroft Garages. I ordered during the summer which I understand is their busiest time so I was comfortable that I had around a 3 month wait. Dencroft arranged for a great guy to come and remove my old Asbestos garage, and dig and lay a new concrete base ready for my new garage. My new garage was put up quickly by two guys who worked incredibly hard through horrible weather. It was torrential rain but the garage was up just after lunch. Everyone involved did a fantastic job and worked really hard, and my new garage is top notch. The price I paid was significantly less than other quotes, and considering how much work went into removal, the base and the new construct, I'm really impressed. Thank you Dencroft!

I had my new garage installed one month ago and i am more than happy to say how pleased i am of it now .The workmen who did my base also installed the garage one week later which really pleased me to see familiar faces on the job. Thank you to everyone at Dencoft .

Very happy with the product and service. Dencroft built us a "concrete store" a couple of weeks ago (essentially a single garage sized shed), including a new concrete base. There's a set price list - no haggling or time limited offers to mess about with. The build took place across two days (one for the base and one for the store) and the builders were great. We're making good use of our new shed.

Bought a dencroft garage 23 years ago and they were very good then....so when the door finally gave up we went back to them for a replacement. Still the same friendly fantastic service. We were so pleased we decided to buy a concrete shed to replace the old one (that we had also purchased from them at a similar tine). New shed fitted this weekend and the old one dismantled and removed. Lovely chaps, and again excellent service. Highly recommended.

Janice Field

From first contact with Dencroft, then their representative's visit and expert advice on how best to achieve my aims, to finished garage/workshop - every thing went smoothly. A much better and stronger building in my view than others I had looked at before choosing Dencroft. The company's three men worked tirelessly to complete my larger than normal building in one day. Well done. I certainly recommend them to anyone considering a sectional building.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For a number of years, the leaks and condensation in my garage had been getting progressively worse, to the extent that I was having to sheet my car and cover shelves and a workbench to keep them dry.
The time had come for a re-roof to cure the problem.
I compared various companies and received estimates for the work.
I chose Dencroft, not just on price alone, but for the efficient way they handled my enquiry.
Telephone calls were answered promptly by Christine in the office, whose friendly nature, knowlegeable and positive approach, inspired confidence in the company.
An estimate was given over the phone, followed by a site survey to confirm the price.
A paper copy was then received by post the next day and the job was booked.
A little later, I received telephone confirmation of the date for the new roof to be fitted.
Rob and Denis, then arrived on the day to remove the old leaking roof panels and replace them with new metal sheets.
Very polite and obliging, they got on without any fuss adapting the job to suit my needs and requirements.
All waste was removed from the site, which was left spotlessly clean.
In all, I am completely satisfied with the whole process and can recommend Dencroft with full confidence.

Many thanks to Christine for her pleasant telephone manner and efficient customer service, Rob and Denis for their practical skills, adaptability and friendly nature on site.
You are all a credit to the company and deserve due recognition as such.
From a very satisfied customer.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had our very old garage dismantled and a new shed erected in its place. It was all very hassle free right from our first visit to the site to completion. One of the windows hadn't been delivered for the arranged date, but they came and did the major work anyway and we're back within a week to complete. I identified a couple of snagging issues which they also rectified, without question, on the return visit. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and helpful, and the lads who came out were friendly, worked efficiently and knew what they were doing. An excellent service all round, and value for money.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What an absolute pleasure to deal with this highly professional company. We had our garage roof replaced 5 years ago by Dencroft Garages, and it has been great! However, during the wild weather recently, some of the fascia had popped off. I contacted Dencroft Garages by email and received a reply straight away from Christine. Glen came over today to fix it up, within a couple of weeks of me raising the issue. Really friendly, really professional and most of all, he did an excellent job. I cannot recommend this company highly enough! Thankyou!
